Today officially marks one month til Christmas so it’s the perfect day to share the Lush Christmas Collection with you all! I was lucky enough to be sent an assortment of products from the collection and I’ve been using them all for a few weeks now so I have my favourites and some thoughts.
I’ll preface this rather large haul with the fact that I ordered these products in week 10 of uni when retail therapy was definitely necessary. I also didn’t have any ColourPop products in my collection, and now I’ve got them I’m wondering why I never ordered them sooner, so obviously I had to order a few things to really sample the brand. The value sets sucked me in and I figured it was a good way to try a lot of different products without having to choose colours and formulas and at the time they were running a promotion so I got a free highlight for every $20 spent, along with free shipping. I’ve used all the products once at this stage and love them so far.
It was literally just Easter and now it’s November and I don’t know what to do. October was busy, it contained arguably the most stressful week of my life so far which included two presentations, two report submissions and a somewhat unidentified illness and while I’m glad that’s over it also means I have less than two weeks of uni left before I have to become a real girl. But I have managed to amass a few favourites this month, a couple I only bought because they’re pretty, one that I’m super excited to share with you and another that I’m sure will be part of my life forever. These are my October Favourites.
No one does seasonal collections like Lush so when a box of the Halloween collection landed on my doorstep I couldn’t wait to try everything out and share it with you all! The whole collection is gorgeous and autumnal with ten products total in varying bright and glittery colours.
I don’t really have a skincare routine as such. Sometimes I just can’t be bothered, other times I want to put all the lovely, helpful, cleaning things on my face. But I definitely switch things up depending on the season, Winter is all about moisture and heavy, hydrating creams and non-stripping masks. Spring and Summer is so much lighter just because when it’s hot I don’t want to feel like there’s a ton of stuff on my skin holding in all the heat. So here’s a roundup of a few products I’ve been using more often recently, when I feel like it and sometimes when I don’t.
